Donation and Recurring Payments Module

Use the Donation module in paymentform.io to accept one-time or recurring contributions for a cause, charity, or personal project.

How to Set Up a Donation Form

1. From My Forms, click + Create Form.
2. Select Donation and click Use Template.
3. You will be taken to the Donation Setup section.
4. Select your Currency from the dropdown.
5. Under Default Amounts, set preset donation options (e.g. $10, $20, $30). Click + Add Default Amount to add more.
6. Set the Minimum Donation Amount.
7. Turn on Enable Custom Amount to let donors enter their own amount.
8. Under Select Payment Frequency, choose billing options like One Time, Monthly, or Yearly.

Adding Donor Fields

Go to the Fields tab. The form includes default fields for Name, Email, and Phone Number. Add or remove fields as needed.

Each field includes options to customize it easily:

• Settings icon — Edit field options
• Hide icon — Hide the field from the form
• Delete icon — Remove the field

Inside field settings, you can mark a field as required or optional, edit the placeholder, set a default value, and add helper text.

For the Phone field, additional options include:

• Lock Default Country
• Enable Masking
• Allow Mask Overflow
• Force Dial Code

Configuring Settings

Click the Settings tab to configure your form. See the Form Settings & Customization section for a full explanation of every available option.

Tracking Donations

Open your donation form from My Forms and click Submission to see all donations, including recurring ones.

Inside the Submission section, you’ll find three tabs:

• All Submission — Shows all submissions
• Completed — Shows successful payments
• Partial Submission — Shows incomplete or unfinished submissions
